Pure blend pro...not enough nitrogen?

So I have been running PBP formula for the past year or so. It's done me right so far but for the life of me my plans never get enough nitrogen. They are always a paler green. If I increase the amount of grow (and slightly higher calmag and liquid karma) they just get burnt.

Wondering if I could add a dash of maybe GH grow blend or something else in their to give them a nitrogen boost. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

What's the N-P-K on PBP? Is it like 2-15-8? lol..

I run 2-1-1 all the way somehow no problems. Moving over to a real one part nute soon however

i've used it for years ... also with calmag+ and karma .... all i can suggest is check your ph .. if its out of range the plant wont be able to takeup N ... not sure if your soil or hydro ... i grow soiless and found over the years .. ph 6.2 works best for me .. hope this helps

happy growin

PH? Whats that? LOL

I would think that my level of Rep would denote that I am a little above the mistake of not running at the proper ph. I let it drift around but never below 5.5 and never above 6.3. I'm mainly right in the middle.

PBP grow is 3-2-4 Cal mag is 2-0-0 liquid karma is really really dilute like .2-.2-.4 or something. Just an observation. The plants are growing gang busters and look healthy..well I do have one plant with "issues" like a phos deficiency but other than that they are just a lime green color indicative of low nitroogen levels.

Going to jack up to 1200 pppm (i'm in week 6-7 at this point) 6-7 of veg, not bloom and see what happens.

thanks for the feedback.

I'd say just add slightly more PBP if you have nitrogen deficiency. You might consider a slightly earlier rez change doing this.

no offence meant on mentioning the Ph .. was just stateing a sometimes overlooked problem .. hope you find the solution to your problem

no problem dude, I laughed out loud when I read that. Like fucking duh. :) For the record though, your PH has to be REALLY fucked up to lock up nitrogen. I think the plants would display all kinds of fuckered up things prior to nitrogen lockout. I increased the PPM big time to see if that helps.

They are feeding like fucking Samoans at this point. Mixed 40 gallons at 1220, next day.. down to 950.

same gear as i use, and my plants are always nice and green unless i mess with stuff

Hey Dizzle, what are your PPM's at in late late veg? I'm around 1200 right now but prior to that I was around 800. Thanks!

i dunno mang! i dotn own a meter lol

i grow in soil now.....BUT when iwas growing in coco i had the kinda probs you are having righ tnow, as coco is to be treated like hydro which i didnt knwo at the time

with these nutes i actually use less than what botanicare says to, and i feed more frequently. I find PBP is real concentrated so you use less

i woudl suggest gettin soem cal/mag+ and maybe soem liquid karma....i wish i could help you out more but like i said i had a horrible time in coco with feeding and burning
