Pumping runoff into septic?

Any issues pumping nutrient runoff into a septic system? It would be from a 8000 watt grow so idk maybe 10 gallons of runoff a day, wasn’t sure if the nutrient salts would effect anything such as the microbes that digest the sewage.

Not sure if it's recommended but my DTW for all of my rooms goes to my septic, thats a LOT more than 10 gallons a day in my case. Hasn't caused any issues in 8 years.

Shouldn't be much if any metal in a septic system.
The tank itself is typically plastic or concrete and its all hooked together with pvc drain pipe. The drain field after the tank is usually just pipe with holes in it that let's the grey water seep out into the ground.

We had a system in one house we rented that used a pump to pump the grey water to sprinklers that watered the back yard when the little holding tank was full. That was the weirdest shit.. and kinda gross.

Some septic tanks have a rubber gasket they use to sleeve the pipe through to drain to your distribution box (can also have seals) which drains to your finger system.
If it's an older system it probably doesn't have them anyway.

With how diluted everything will be there shouldn't be any problems. If anything you might see some yellowing of the grass where your fingers are due to the increased salt.

You'll never get a Plumber to tell you it's okay to dump ANYTHING into your septic, but in reality you should be fine. Microbes might not like it, but just up your Rid-X use a little more :)
