Pump part missing- please advise

I have a maxi pump for my drip system but I'm missing the sucker which attaches this to the tank as well as the bit of plastic which slides onto the pump which holds the sucker. So I have a pump and tank to hold water but no way to attach the two and I'm struggling to come up with a solution.

I tried it just attached to the drip pipe but it eventually separated and spewed water all over. Anyone got any genius suggestions temporary or permanent? I'm get back to the hydro store on the weekend but don't know what to do in meantime. I hope they will sell me parts because I don't wanna buy a new pump when mine still works!

I was lucky, made it to hydro store today and they sorted me out with a new sucker and plastic part at no cost! Made my day, I was thinking I would have had to buy I new pump, luck was on m side for once!
