Pulling up stakes

I was doing LST on these, but the stalks got so week 3 ish.jpg 5.5 weeks.jpg 5.5 weeks a.jpg week 3 ish.jpg 5.5 weeks.jpg 5.5 weeks a.jpg thick and the upward growth is so strong they pull up the stakes.

The growth in the last 2 1/2 weeks is, I think pretty good.

I FIM'd them about a week ago and I'm afraid to bend them to LST because... see above.

So should I force them to bend or just let em go as they are. maybe top them or FIM them again in another week.

Oh by the way the little plant are the big plants a couple weeks ago

Drill holes to securely tie garden string to. Or use tape. I only use stakes for sticky traps and really don't like it. Poking holes in the dirt makes me nervous when they're big.

The plants look pretty and vigorous though.

Yes tie the back down but do it over a few hours. Bend from the top, when it gets soft, put a tie in the middle then move to the top and tie it back down. Some bend easier than others. If it cracks don't worry just tape it firmly with electric tape. This turned into this with bottom branch colas even with the top. At some point in flowering (3weeks) I cut the ties and let it go. It's easier to manage and the plant was never topped.
