Whats up RIU its that time of year again, i found these babies the other day,

they are called ovoids, anyone else have a find yet this year?
 
Nice pick! I found a guy from ol miss I think..walking thru an old gathering of the vibes show like 8 years ago..he literally had a backpack full..not even in a plastic bag! He gave me a half oz for 20$ and me and my girl tripped nutz! Great time and all his shrooms looked just like yours,excpet a lil less damp..hope you trip as nice! I got great conditions where I'm at to go picking,but I'm moving now and can't find the time :-( thanks for the pics!!!
 
I'm not a mycologist(sic?) But,those are legit..seen and eat em before..if not then I'm an idiot with poor eyesight(both are true)...
 
Those are some beautiful specimen. I've never heard. What region do they grow in??? I mean look at them nipples!
 
Thats crazy man ive found and still find find those things everywhere...I live in the ohio river valley and just learned today that those grow round here...I never knew...I gotta few spots ima chk tmmrw.

I want to go shroom hunting sooo bad! That sounds like the most rewarding thing on earth....if you have the patience. Like fishing I bet.... I am telling you man, someone in California needs to lead shroom expeditions... I would pay good money... I have paid to charter salmon fishing boats out of Frisco.... i sure as hell would pay to go on a chartered shroom expedition!

U really dont need patience if u know where to look...the times ive went we were literally kickin them over n stepping on them...they were everywhere by the clumps...caps as big as saucers...cow pastures outside daytona beach florida a small town called Deland florida..its where Ponce de Leon springs are..if u can make it there find Delands High school and theres cow fields close by...if its rained theyre LOADED.
 
Yea vega, I met a kid at bonnaroo @10 years ago..he was from fla and had literally a backpack full of shrooms..no baggie liner or grocery store bag..just a jansport bookbag,full of feild caps..he gave me a good deal on a half oz..40$ if remember correctly..not the most potent,but still good times.
 
I bought shrooms off of a guy in a sports jacket a tie and flower print shorts. He had a briefcase he opened and there was my eighth of shrooms...the only thing in the briefcase....

Yeah bro its crazy down there w the shrooms if ur in that scene...I had moved down there n obviously it didnt take long to find potheads hell I was an 18yr old pot/acid head dealing in all of it but mainly coke...thats how I ended up down there in the first place...anyway met a real cool dude n his buddy n it didnt take long for shrooms to come up in the conversations...went somthin like this to make it short...Thomas:"yeah man shrooms are everywhere down here hell they grow across from our highschool n we used to go over at lunch n pick shrooms n trip at school all day...why u wanna go pickin?"...Vega:"Hell yeah man we can sell those things where im from...same price as weed (commercial prices).. $125 a zip....how many can we find"....Thomas:"hahaha...u cant sell shrooms man...ppl dont pay for shrooms"...Vega:"hahaha...u show me where to pick em n ill show u where to sale em!!"...
Swear man it went down just like that...was like a scene from a movie...and was like a movie literally for quite some time aftr that day...we immediately got up n went to the fields. .literally that very moment...luckily it had rained and the fields were FULL...we picked 3garbage bags full in like an hour...3of us...while eating them for my very first time which was fucking nuts man..I ate like four caps bout golfball size n a big bite from another till dude sd that was enuf n ive never tripped so hard...the world turned into a cartoon n so did everyones face...I cldnt even look at my friends for hours...everytime I tried theyre faces were doin such madness I just cldnt bare it...haha...woukd bust out in hysterical laughter..plus just what was goin on n what was bout to hppnm.thinkin abt the situation inside my head was crazy...what we were doin where I was n the $$ I was abt to make...not tryin to boast but bk home I was like "the man" for a lot of ppl...coke n weed mostly but I was deep in the scene n had the shrooms sold before we even pulled into town.. that was the first of many trips....a lot of stories but like all drug stories in has a bad ending...an "Awe man damn that sucks" ending...ha...but I wldnt trade those times for anything...funnest times of my life....ive thrown away grocery bags full of dried shrooms in trash cans at a wendys or somthin just cause I didnt wanna drive around w em thats how freely they we flowing....im sure its stil like that down there this was in like 94-95-96

Weird there is a ponce de leon springs around where I live too. But it's not near deland. I'm more out in the sticks in the panhandle lol
