prunning

Depends on what you mean by "prune," but usually no. If you top or FIM your plant, then verticle growth will slow down for a little bit, but that's the point. If you're just talking about snipping off some of the lower growth, you shouldn't see any change in growth.

psuedonym my plants r like 7 inches tall and I prunned the fan leaves cuz space is limited and they were getting jammed up in the cabinet.. when I came back home I realized that there wasnt an odor like they use to have.. kinda worried about my babies.. is it true that there is a chance they would turn into males? do u think theyre going to be fine? I actually just prunned them this morning.. hopefully Ill see changes in the next few days

That was a bad idea. The fan leaves are what power the plants. There's a chance it could stress them into males or hermies, but there's nothing you can do about it now. I've never pruned a plant so invasively so I don't know what to tell you about their chances of being fine. Just hope the plant continues to grow. Good luck.
