Pruning techniques which should use in my situation?

Hi all

I'm going to use an 8pot wilma for next grow. Used it before but plants got very cramped in there, I'd not trimmed topped fim'd etc at all I let them just do their thing.

I will b growing under 600w, and thought I might try 3-4 plants this time instead of 7, and see how I get on. (I'd like the variety even if it doesn't produce anymore than one big beasty plant.)



I'm after advice on any pruning or other techniques you think I should use to limit the size of plant but which won't hinder bud quantity and quality much if at all. Room 1x1x1.2m

Also I'd like to know what you think to growing 4 plants in a 8 pot wilma. Last time I did autos but this time I plan to grow SLH and Cheese photoperiod plants.

Anyone? My understanding is topping makes the plant grow outwards so would assume thats not the method I should use. Any suggestions people?
