Plants never grow extra leaves. lol

Sorry had to.. :D I can imagine you are outdoors? I don't have experience in outdoor growing other than evicting the males that pop in here n there. I transplant them into the ground outside in the summer months... annnnd I just leave em there. But I wouldn't stress her during flower. Maybe a trellis to set some structure tho.

But anyway, you can prune interior branches and leaves that aren't getting sun. That should have (and maybe has been) done a while ago. And at this point, any that are being shaded most of the time, that won't grow anything can still be removed. Though, I leave a lot of those alone until the plant has drawn out the nutrients it has stored in them. After it's used them up, they have to go. Fungal infections love starting on dying branches. Good luck friend!

I continuously prune yellowing leaves on my plants. By the time they're ready for harvest there's only a few fan leaves left lol.

IDK if it's the best thing to do but I can't stand the sight of dying yellow leaves all over my plants and they yield just fine.

I prune my lower level leaves and branches for airflow. It's help to avoid white mildew where I'm located. I leave the giant fan leaves alone unless they're yellow or have mildew already. I've read that it also helps by sending the nutrients to the larger flowers instead of the smaller shaded out buds. I'm not sure if there's any truth to that? Might be voodoo talk

Pruned almost all my fan leaves during flowering. I have organic home made compost buried. (House hold compost) not my own poo. It didn't seem to affect its health but I also have them in the ground outside. It all seems good but by doing the defoliating method I caused it to hermie. Now I have seedy outdoor. Hopwfully its still worth smoking.
