Prune for clones..

I have a strain that doesn't like to branch out much... I need to take many clones for a SOG set up... Are there any pruning techniques that anyone can suggest to help me out other than top top top, or to have several different moms from the original plant? It's just tough because she doesn't want to branch out no matter how many times I snip her.

Have you tried lst'ing?
