Before saying "don't cut anything" or telling me how fan leaves work, please read the whole post.
First off, I am a CFL user practicing maximum LST.
Okay, I don't know whether or not I should cut some of the nodes that are just fan leaves off. There are currently a set with each "top" on the only plant I'd consider doing this to. The reason I am even thinking about pruning is because the plan is growing on it's side, and the fan leaves are blocking room for the new top's fan leaves. It has 6 tops, and I just topped the tallest part a few days ago. All of the new tops have 3+ sets of nodes, but the old only fan leaf sets are blocking light to the fan leaves that are part of the tops. Should I cut a set or two of these off to increase air flow and light to the tops? I would just be cutting the part of the branch that is JUST a fan leaf. In the picture you can see the problem of having no space to pin anything.
