Proposal: The intentional and isolated application of male pollen to ward off hermaphrodites.

Ball sacs or nanners? Pics would be helpful. At this point I belive you have full blown hermephrodites. Sounds like you are less than 1/2 way through flower?

You would need to do this daily but were I in the situation you describe I would not attempt to finish this run.
Full blown balls sacs, some of which had pollen spilling out of them. Looked like four "arms" opened with powdery substance there.

Sounds like you just got bad female seeds of that strain. Should get it out of rotation. Also, I only run about 9-12 plants in that area (5 x 5). I have been growing Greenpoint seeds. This is Jelly Pie

Okay. So let me be clear about how I got these genetics. Because it is a little confusing, but I'll try to be clear. Ordered seeds. 5 feminized White Gold and to my surprise, a pack of 3 regular seeds came for free (church of the deadhead regular). I set those aside for later. I attempted to germinate my 5 white golds. Only 2 popped. Uh oh. So, I had 3 pots to fill. So I popped those three regular church x deadheads. 2 were obviously male. trashed. One was a female. That one went hermie on me, and I didn't catch it. It mostly pollinated itself tho. The white golds had a seed per bud about. So, I have all these feminized seeds. i decided to take the risk, assumed it was environmental stress that made *one* plant go hermie. Turns out, all her offspring want to go hermie too. I hope that makes better sense.

This is becoming discouraging. No way all those plants went herm because of stress. Some of them were my biggest and most beautiful plants.

I don't think stress played a roll, or at least not a critical one, the seeds you bought were whatever they were, no way that Im aware of to determine if they were fems other than researching grow reports. Your made seeds were a crap shoot, came up snake eyes.

Well, just an update. I pulled 10 more hermies out. Every other one was a herm. Most of them had not opened their scs yet. I didn't finish looking though, the damage is done...Thanks for all your help guys. I know the thread steered off in a different direction. But, that's OK.

Thanks. I'll check it out. I'm going to be researching genetics tonight. Again. But this time I'm going to be looking for validated herm resistant genetics. And as far as "That's free seeds for you" I don't accept that. They need to be trashed, not given away to unsuspecting paying customers.

This kinda stuff is happening everywhere. Lots of messed up genetics today.

Yes, there some problems with S1's in April, but made things right. Read the reviews, he does have a lot fire. Customers are growing the hell out of them. Fantastic and beautiful pics from customers convinced me. It is high quality, just has regs which is good for pheno hunting. I averaged around 30.00 for 11 seeds. As low as 6.00 a pack. all good strains. Don't let price fool you.
