hey everyone i have 3 6 foot plants growing outdoors i am planning on pulling one in the morning just curious if i should pull it by each main cola or if i can just pull the whole thing and dry it as 1:leaf:

You should cut each branch seperate and then trim or dry. If you are going to hang dry, then trim, you should prob still seperate each branch so the plant has some room to air out and dry. If you leave a six foot plant whole, I would imagine some of the branches clumping together and just less air flow in general making mold more likely. If you are planning on trimming first, then hanging, you will prob have a hard time trimming a 6ft plant that hasn't been broken down into branches, it would just be hard and awkward. Either way will work, its just a matter of whats easiest for you

thanks im more worried about the heat i have to dry in the garage but got it all set up and dark and ventilated but its still like 80 degrees in there 50 percent humidity i was thinking hanging it upside down in one piece wouldnt allow it to dry so fast

That should work, as long as you have some airflow going on in there you should be fine, and it sounds like you do. You don't want your plants to dry too fast, or the chlorophyll wont have a chance to leave your plant. So maybe leaving the plant whole and drying, then trimming will work best for you. Just keep an eye on the buds as they dry and make sure there are no signs of mold.

sweet thanx im pullin 1 in the morning and the other 2 probably this weekend so that will give me a couple of days to see if that was the best way

sometimes I remove my fan leaves and put the plant chopped up in stems and keep em in a rubermaid tub for a couple days before I even start trimming.. If done right your leaves will still be perky when you take em out. you must keep it cool and burp the lid when water starts to form on the walls of the tub.

I do not due this all the time but I do if I want to. extends the breakdown process for slower curing or a slower strait dry

u should be cultivating each bud seperatley as they don't all mature at the same normally
