You think?

Post proof.
Go take a shower. You smell of desperation.
I also suggest you put some change together and go visit @schuylaar. Maybe she will sorry for you and ...
She does enjoy coffee. She also is used to being broke , so I really don't expect her to want an expensive meal.
Just be warned. She is not married but divorced for a reason, but I'm sure you don't care Mr.Desperate .

If this is your idea of proof of anything but your own irrationality then I'm afraid we're at an impasse.

Ok sure lets play.
I'm I correct in assuming you are an open-minded man of progression correct ?
How do you feel about people naming their children. Do you think one of color should name their child names like Laquita or Lakeisha, Omani, Aaliyah.
You wanted a honest conversation. Lets have it. Lets see what your progressive mind defends.

Shit post.

Can't argue on the merits, has to resort to slender.

Can't stand losing, can you, hater?

You have a serious problem. Seek help.
Waaaaaat?

Slander is to make false and damaging statements about someone. Too bad you can't own up to your own statements. No surprise there. I'm a bit surprised you would try to newspeak all your and other bernster racist and bigoted statements. It's now clear that your myopia, is worse that I initially thought.

Bringing up Flaming Pie as an example of the kind of people st0 saying are radicalized by criticism is the perfect example of the flaw in his argument. In this case, the reference to Pie is a valid example. Pie will only change when she sees herself differently. That will not happen if we just stop talking about racism, bigotry, or sexism, it's roots in ignorance and the vile effects their endorsement of racism has on its targets. If it ever happens, that is. Until then, the majority must suppress racist and sexist acts, including speech. Unlike you, sky, st0 and Saint Bernard, I stand with my brothers and sisters to rebuke them and you when you say your stupid racist trashy words. There is no other way.

It's not a flaw in MY argument, though. What you're suggesting is that sociologists and professors...people that study this for a living are wrong, and Fogdog from rollitup is right. I know you like to play "expert" here on RIU, but I will defer to the actual experts on this.

In talking with researchers and looking at the studies on this, I found that it is possible to reduce people’s racial anxiety and prejudices. And the canvassing idea was regarded as very promising. But, researchers cautioned, the process of reducing people’s racism will take time and, crucially, empathy.

This is the direct opposite of the kind of culture the internet has fostered — typically focused on calling out racists and shaming them in public. This doesn’t work. And as much as it might seem like a lost cause to understand the perspectives of people who may qualify as racist, understanding where they come from is a needed step to being able to speak to them in a way that will help reduce the racial biases they hold.

“Telling people they’re racist, sexist, and xenophobic is going to get you exactly nowhere,” said Alana Conner, executive director of Stanford University’s Social Psychological Answers to Real-World Questions Center. “It’s such a threatening message. One of the things we know from social psychology is when people feel threatened, they can’t change, they can’t listen.”
