Mz Jill does some great things like charity, and breeding, but her attitude can be volatile at times. I've watched countless videos and panels with her, and I've noticed that if anyone disagrees with her, she gets very defensive, no matter how respectfully the opposing party states their disagreement. It's just a personality trait that she has, and Sub may be fine with it, but I've noticed how it rubs other people the wrong way.

What Cali Connection really needs is the cannabis industry version of that red head from Myth Busters.

i grew it..herms at 6 or 7 weeks,mine on the mid-lower buds right at the base of tge buds..danky fire herb,knock you out lemon fuel tasting bud,granular trichs..but,herms...grew it out for a bit keepin the balls plucked,but i got tired of the seeds here and there..made a thread about it..swerve hopped on his bannana boat being a dick,when all i was saying was my experience..oh well..i got potroast..:-D
 
Growing seeds is a crapshoot you won't always find a winner, that is why clones are good for inner circles.

Cali Connection has produced some real dank, it has also produced some of the biggest headaches in my garden. If your starting out your growing journey it is a good place to start because you can fuck up without it contaminating anything else. But if you already have established genetics in the garden and want to add more you should go with a company that has a better reputation.
 
i agree..seeds are a lottery..i won a few times,and lost even more..but companys that have the rep for bad "prizes" in this lottery should let the players know the odds..perhaps this could be a sales pitch for any company's gear..grow out 100 of each strain and list percentages of characteristics,good AND bad...

This would be good for a new company trying to show the world that honesty and integrity are still valued in business.

Dynasty Seeds does something similar. They describe each common phenotype, and then you give you the odds that you will end up with that pheno

Very nice, very potent and frosty. I made f2s using a 9 week caramel haze lady and matching male. she's still around, its the pheno described as occurring with 40% frequency but with a very dominant caramel taste and smell just like caramel candy and colors very dark purple/black. Extremely sativa high plus fast finishing time and nice structure with low stretch made her a keeper in my garden, she's still around and about to enter flowering within the week, I think. Lots of Cindy and Kali Mist influence in this strain.

Anyway last year I did seed runs this year I am focusing on Cali Connection. I'm getting ready to run a bunch of their stuff. I've got a mixed Sativa pack that were freebies from an Attitude promotion some time ago, Boss Hog, Girl Scout Cookies, LA Affie and I'm trying to decide if I should run more Pre-98 Bubba Kush. I am going to start the September promo seeds too so I am looking forward to a hopefully, Merry Christmas.

I've found that I like all pot so far even the seed impaired varieties :bigjoint:

cali con's pre98 bubba is straight up fire c2g.. not the biggest yielder, but omfg, very good smoke ime..

He's visiting this coming weekend I'll tell him you said hey. I did love the Pre-98 it is magical in its pain relieving properties.

I am doing well and wouldn't mind seeds if these seed up. My seed run got cut short but the C99s I ran made up for any disappointment over fewer seeds than I had hoped, LoL.

I've also got some Apollo 13. Lemon Kush, Bubblegummer, Jack Herrer, so it will be a more positively productive winter this year, or so I hope, ha.

same old shit, different pile pretty much.. i did recently got a j o b, which is nice, even though i'm not making much money atm, i am getting out of the house, and more importantly, out of my head, and getting some sun and have lost 10 pounds so far, which is always a good thing, so yeah, yah me, lol..
i just got done a grow, rez's 4sd, which is ecsd x chemdawg 4, and holy hell, it's some potent, stinky, stinky bud.. maybe even my new number 1 thus far..
also did a clone of a bubba kush, and tbh, i wasn't as excited about it as i had hoped for.. not as good as cali cons pre98 imo.. yielded better, but it doesn't even come close to the 4sd in the potency dpt.. :(

umm, other then that, same old same old.. haven't been online a bunch as of late due to being busy with the new job and all, which isn't really a bad thing imo..

oh well, nice to see you around annie, as always, hope all is well with you and yours.. :D
