Hello everyone and thanks for all the helpfull information you have provided so far. I started to run into a couple problems about a week or so ago. The fan leaves started turning yellow, drying up and crumbling. It started with the bigger plants. They are 4 weeks old. The ph is good at around the high 6's. ??? questions ???
Any advice would be awesome.:peace:

i usually water when the pot feels light and the soil feels dry a few inches into the soil..
i was thinking that it has something to do with the shitty soil i started in. but im repotting tonight in 3 gal with some organic happy frog and some perlite instead. plus a good flush with reverse osmosis water should be good too. i think the water might be bad so im using the RO water from here on out. any other advice???

Possibility.....over fertilizing......looks much like pictures on page 282, JC (Jorge Cervantes) Bible, "Marijuana Cultivation". Here's a scan. Just a possibility. High 6's ph could be too high also.

It could be over fert, depends what you’re feeding them, if you’re not overfeeding, my guess is nitrogen deficiency. Bigger pots needed but no need to flush, unless it is getting to much nutrients already, just add a little nitrogen to the mix, sometimes added in b1 formulas, which will also increases green foliage. Although a good root builder will also carry high nitrogen and now’s the time to build a good root mass. Don’t forget the bat guano if you’re organic minded.

thanks for all the responds.. i just repotted them into the pots and noticed an extreme amount of calcium build up. the water seems to be really hard. the Reverse Osmosis water had a ph around 6.0 too. so by changing the water, i think i have solved the problem. yeah i give them bat guano every couple waters.
do you guys think it was the terrible water doing this???

many times it is a water source issue. an excess of one element often means a lock out of another, hard water contains many other elements besides calcium that are more then likely causing the effects of necrosis on the older leaves, and the underleaf curl.

yeah i believe it was the water fully.. i filled up a little tub and let it evaporate over night and in the bottom of the little tub there was a tons of build up. just a bunk of junk. thanks for the help dudes...

Bro,
Waiting to see the pictures. What strain is that? I've never seen leaves that wide, they're real pretty.

Well here is a little updated photo on whats going on. The strains are unknown. Just a mix of random seeds i keep from bud that i enjoyed. you think i solved my problem?

obviously an improvement, although there are still some leaf curl and some brown tips on the bottom, i would trim those so the plant doesn't waste energy fixing instead of growing. give the leaf curl a couple weeks before it goes away. just my opinion, good to know your back on track.
