he roots have been growing fine it seems. My plants just seem unhealthy sometimes. Any advice extremely appreciated. I change the resevior weekly. Im considering transplanting these to soil if I cant figure out this hydro thing. Should they be bigger? Are they looking ok? The strain is called goat cheese. Someone has to know whats up with this?

You're doing fine ........ stay at half strength..... you're top & new leaves look good slowly increase nuts. if this continues. Always best to be a little under than a little over. Looks about average for 21 days from seed to me. Good luck

HERES THE PICS

Hey, Saltwater, I was just posting about this last night!

So, the best advice I can give, honestly, to any new grower is this: Do not worry so much about your plants. We all do it in the beginning, but this is the first, most important step you should always take. As soon as you see a change in color, or a slight leaf burn, or some minor spotting, just stop. Do not worry. Leave the plant alone for at least 24 hours, and then check on it again.

The reason I say this is that we ALL obsess about our plants. It's medicine, it's money, and it's a lot of time and a huge investment! Believe me, I totally understand you worrying!

That being said, your plants look totally fine. Do they show some minor nutrient burn at the tips? Yeah. But that's totally normal. The plant is just small, and is adjusting to taking up nutrients. Once it has more leaves, bigger roots, fatter stalks, etc., it will not burn as easily. You should stay at 1/2 strength nutrients for now, and always remember to change you reservoir weekly to prevent salt, algae, and fungus build up.

I have little plants start off this way every single round. They're always gonna lose a few leaves to burning in the beginning, but then they get huge and lush and green.

This plant is ridiculously resilient. It will grow against remarkable odds. Just keep at what you're doing now, and don't over-stress it.

Happy growing!

Hey Humbleservantoftheplant, Thanks for the reassurance. I needed that. To be honest, you were right. They are looking healthy and they are growing vigorously now. They just needed to adjust. Root growth has really taken off and the stems seem to be increasing in diameter as well. Once again, thanks for your response. It really help put me at ease. Stay free my friend and happy growing!!!

This warms my heart, sir. Thanks for the props; I sincerely appreciate that! I'm really glad I was able to help! I learned SO much from older and more experienced growers on this site. It's a good community. People tend to be really helpful, and any issue you can potentially think of we've all had at one point or another!

Anyway, happy growing to you! I look forward to seeing how your little ladies progress!
