so i planted my seeds on the 5th of October, i was going to let them veg for about 4 weeks or so, but with thanksgiving break coming up in about a month i will be going home and have to leave my plants unattended.. any thoughts of what i should do?
No, seriously....what about timers? Automatic watering systems, drip feed?
Just a few things to think about. Have a look at GrowFAQ at the top left screen.
Yeah I watched that 'I grow chronic' video, and I fell in love with the drip system. Doesn't seem that hard to set up, and then you don't have to spend as much time with them.

ya i think i'll look into the timers for the lights and the drip feed. ill prob be gone from 21st to the 26th. so i'll deff need to come up with something by then.
even if i changed the lighting to 12/12 after 2 weeks of veg they still wouldn't be ready before then would they?

right now im doing 24/7, when should i switch to 18/6? and i realize they would be small, this is just personal and its my first time, but it would really take up to 8 weeks for them to flower all the way?

I've not been on 24/7, only 18/6 and 12/12. It takes time for the pistils to turn from white to brown, and then you've got to wait for the trichromes to develop. These are like tiny, minute, clear toadstools, which then turn opaque, and then turn a amber colour, when that happens it's ready.....It takes time mate.
Also depends on what lights you're using and how you're growing them....
Wait until GK is on and hopefully He'll explain more fully!
