problem with my plants.!!

Im not sure if its because of lack or nutrients or too much nutrients or the wrong PH or whatever the problem could be. but i would like some help to keep these alive.. Please and thank you!
Why are they yellowing and starting to yellow on the leaves?

Yeah if you even wanna call that soil.
she cant spread roots because whatever you have is too hard/tight.
The yellowing leaves are the cotyledons and they die off anyway, now is the time to save her.
