probelms germinating

hello everyone im tring to start my next grow iv bought blue cheese seeds iv put them in water to germinate them. they have cracked the seeds but dont seem to be going any further . the little bit of root that comes out isnt this is the 7th day now ! any advice please

ok will this work iv never exprience this before normally the crack the seed case then sprout a little root but nothing ?

If you are growing in soil just put the damn thing in there and be done with it. I still haven't figured out why people complicate the ever living hell out of germinating seeds. I'm like running a 100% germination rate but I'm just a personal stash guy though. I'm sure I could duplicate my results on a larger scale though if I wanted too.

I'm with big easy, just pop em in the soil. It's probably the temp, pH or lack of salts in the water. U checked any of those? Should start growing without much nutes but it does need a little stimulation. Cheese varieties can be finicky.

They've been in water for 7 days? Probably dead if that is the case.

I would expect dead 7 days in water. I have had my issue germinating in the past and not until recently have I figured out my path and it may be a little different than others.

Keep up the heat ...ensure you have a temp gauge in there
