Just wondering can I and would it be wise to reuse Pro-Mix. If so is there any special steps I should take?

toss in half cup of garden lime per cubic ft of promix.

You know, soil is pretty important. If you're talking you had a plant in it for a while, then it died, or turned male, or something, and you want to reuse that soil, I would personally not recommend it. Why take the chance. Just get some new soil. It's probably worth the investment.

People reuse soil all the time. Heck, I reuse coco sometimes. I have a bunch of starts I started from seed in reused soil. They are doing fine.

Wise? No.

If you can get Berger BM6 HP its great stuff, and it's cheaper than Promix.

I mix it half old soil and half fresh soil. Works fine and saves some money.

I have several barrels I turn all the time it all started as old soil and I simply amend it with cow shit and stuff and let it cook if needed and carry on. They get better every run.

I'm having good luck with Nector For The Gods #4 right now. Switched from FFOF. I'm going to stick with it I think.

I reuse pro mix/sunshine etc all the time, most times I use it for the final transplant so it goes on the very bottom for final stretch/bloom....

So after harvest the very bottom and sides are old stuff that fills low spots in my lawn while the center goes through the same cycle... I do this one time as I dont reuse twice
