Pretty new to growing-1st hydroponics

Hey everybody. I love the forum but I need some serious help. I am a complete noob and this will be my first grow so please bare with me. I was thinking about buying a stealth hydro and using that. I figured if I am going to do my 1st grow, I might as well do it right and use hydro.

I will be growing in my closet and I don't have a ton of height room to grow and plus stealth hydro gives me 6 separate pots to grow plants in, but if I grow 6 plants at one time-wont that be too much with the space that is given and the size of the pots they provide? Would I need to use Humboldt County's Own Bushmaster? Also should I LST if I am using Humboldt? Like are both of them neccassary to use together? Sorry about the stupid questions but any help would be really appreciated.

I have had negative experiences with Bushmaster but it could just as easily have been my inexperience.

I should disclose that I don't know Filthy (other than from this forum) and have never used his equipment.
