Preserving the Super Dank - storing genetics through seed/tissue culture

I have a plant that is absolutely amazing. It is some of the best smoke I have ever tried and everybody can't get enough of it. I have been generation cloning it for three years now. I have been offered $500 for a cut of it and I had to decline because it is that good.

What is the best way for me to store the genetics long term?

So far I have crossed it with two different strains. Green Crack x Blueberry Kush and Northern Lights x Blueberry Kush The outcome of the Green Crack f1's is absolutely amazing. Heavy producers of thick frost and the Northern Light project is still in effect.

I want to store the plant in its pure form and grow it for the rest of my life. As far as I know, I have two choices other then going through generations of mother plants. Tissue culture or Colloidal silver to make feminized seeds.

Is there a chance the seeds from the colloidial silver plant will be as good?

Anyone have experience with Tissue cultures to store genetics?

I been growing the same strain for 20 + yrs...its old school skunk from back in the early 90s

Just as long as you take healthy clones from healthy plants you wont ever lose the strain/cut

I have never kept a mom...I always take clones right at onset of 12/12....you dont need a mom

If you feel that strongly about the cuttings you have take the year or two and back cross and in-breed them. After the long journey you wll have hundreds even thousands of seeds that will put out almost identical phenos if done right

Ok thanx Paul. I have been cloning the same plant for 3 years now and it is the same quality but now it takes longer to root. I am gonna inbreed with it because I don't wanna lose it.

I cant explain why it takes longer to clone but it happens to me to so dont feel bad. Keep me posted on you breeding. Im not the most experienced but i do know just a bit and would love to watch this go down
