Im preparing for my first grow. Iv decided to use my closet 4x2.5 feet. there will be mylar on the walls. I am going to build a CFL light rig with 12 26w CFL on Y adaptors with refelctors. I want to veg 6 plants in this closet, so two CFL's per plant. How necessary is ventalation? Will a fan circulating air with a crack in the door be enough? Will the smell get too bad? Im in Ohio so I figure I will be able to plant mid May outside. I would like to veg them for 8 weeks so start around mid March.
I was thinking about going with 3 gallon pots with FF Ocean Forest/ Peralite mix 70/30. What is a good bat guano NPK value for Veg/Flower stage? I will be using FF TRIO for nutes and maby molasses toward the end. The strains ill be growing are 2 GHS Super Lemon Haze, 1 California Hash Plant, 1 Power Skunk and 2 Bagseed. I may run into a problem with the Haze's long flowering time outdoor? any thoughts recomendations welcome! will take pics as March rolls near.

I would place a small fan blowing down the line of the cfl's to keep em cool. Your smells may pick up very quickly if they are thriving and drinking esp. on an 18/6 setup (which you'd wanna set for sunrise to get them used to it) when the lights go off they will drink and your closet/room will most likely be smellin like plant matter. I would suggest some ona block since you aren't rigging up a kit but carbon filters also work. Your soil mix will do you well I just recently started using ocean forest and it has been great my babies really seem to love it. Not too sure on the guanao though but I know someone can point you in the right direction..Also I'm thinkin you may have some problems with your strains considering your climate.. I would'a picked out more indica strains and lst them to have some nice yeilding bushes, shoot with your indoor veg you could vary well have monsters that way. But if you pushin strains with 10+ weeks flowering time you may have some problems. I honestly would salvage the cali hash plant although im unsure of its flo. time and you could throw in the bag seeds for the fuck.. I just don't think the super lemon haze or power skunk will make it before snow hits.. Sativas are pretty difficult plants to grow also and if this is your first grow I would def. reconsider strains if that's a possible option.

yeh i realized that about the strain a little too late. these will be grown in my back yard and somebody will always be here to care after them. i was thinking about force flowering them starting the first of August. That should give them a great soid 8-12 weeks of flowering depends of when the frost comes in October. Im not sure on how i should do this but somehow I plan to cover them up at 7 PM every night and remove when the sun goes completely down so they will be uncovered when the sun comes up at 6:30 AM. This is my only options of strains to grow this year. Let the nOOb learning mistakes begin!! anybody have any reccomendations on force flowering Sativa's?
