It needs to be on the 12/12 light cycle and then in 5 weeks it should be a clear sign. Dont worry its probably more growth, the plant looks like its not even 3 weeks old...
U sayin that it has to be on 12/12 for 5wks to show? Hell in 5 weeks a male could pollinate the whole crop!
Swithching the lights does not stress the plant, it simply triggers the plants natural needs to reproduce, or flower. U can make it flower at anytime really, just keep in mind that during the flowering stage the plant will double in size so space can become an issue.

those are secondary growth nodes not preflowers that plant is very lanky and streched
oh another quick Q if u ppl dont mind.... my plants stem has a few purple/redish lines....they are located above the 2 lower leaves...n also, purple/redish dots on the 2nd set petioles (branch thingy coming out of the stalk) going up....its only on the top of the petioles too.... the higher the petiole the more u can see these redish/purpleish dots... ne1 kno wut that could b?
s wut im talkn about (the red/purple things)? it doesnt seem to hurt the plant it looks to me as if its just the strain but this seed was from a frend who just happened to save seeds n gave me some.... he usually smokes cheap shit u kno the "nick-knack"($5) type of shit.
