To add i should have done better these little cups kicked my ass just full of roots lol
Mabey make a 1 gallon challenge haha
Id recommend painting or wraping those cups to prevent light from getting to the roots. Look at the roots in my pic above and see how green they are. All I can think of is the plants were actually performing photosynthesis in its roots from all the light that was getting in through my styrofoam cup.

Great job - looks very frosty and tasty.

I believe you are in the lead as far as dry weight goes. Hopefully Cleatus will keep some heft after drying. I trimmed off all fan leaves and she is currently sitting at 107 grams. So, rule of (Big Green) thumb says dry weight is around 20% of wet weight = 21.4 grams - stems, etc = gonna be close! Come on, Cleatus the Trailer Park Queen!
You shoulda re-named her Ellie-May, cause she really had quite a pair on her!

Just thought I'd toss a pic or two up... this is the plant that was originally a cup entry. Was transplanted to a 2 gallon pot and then pretty much totally neglected once my main plant mad a recovery. Got shoved in the corner. Topped out at a bit under 3ft tall.20180520_223433.jpg 20180514_225646.jpg

That's part of the challenge brother ;)
Just an fyi, that setup wouldn't fly in the OG comp. Rockwool has to be "inside" the cup not on top of the lid

I'll show my entry #2 tomorrow.

Chopped #4 today. 4 and 5 are throwing bananas. 5 will be next.

I was watering when I started plucking a few bananas and decided to chop it. It came in at 1.4 oz (about 40 grams) intact with stems and trunk. Getting a new scale that weighs in grams in a couple of days so I'll show pictures on the new scale in the future.
I'm guessing dry weight with no stems will be about 8 or 9 grams IDK. The rest are going to be similar. Still drinking heavy but I'm not to sure they will put on much more weight.

I was expecting to see more roots when I took her out of the cup.

Pleading with my plants to gain weight and looking for that change everyday is painful. Maybe I'd feel different if I had a Cleatus lol.

1 gallon, 1/2 gallon, solo cup, shot glass, whatever it is, look forward to the next comp.

Pictures of #2 at 93 days. As long as she doesn't pop any bananas I'll give her another week and see how she looks then.
Gave them a small dose of alfalfa and bat guano (0-5-0) 14 days ago. Water only since.

If i wasnt doing it just as a quick easy way to check out the freebie seeds and just because i have never flowered a seeds from 12/12

I might have made them look better haha
If i would have simply replenished their res every day instead of letting it bone out :)

then i know they would have been good
But they smell delicious haha
