So i hope you can see it but it looks like a preflower. Its been there for 1 1/2 weeks and they are starting to spread but my question is are they male or female im leaning towards male cause of the no white hairs. Ive read that the preflowers can look the same at first but everything said it should grow hairs if female with in days and its been over a week. i have another plant that was planted after and its already starting to bud a lil. So a little info its been in 12/12 for 3 weeks now and i did top it the day before which I know now was a bad idea. I use LEDs and have about 200w for two plants in 3 gallon smart pots and its a soil grow using little to no nutes. I do Ph at 6.5 to 7.

Yeah i havent seen any white hairs. I cant get a better pic that took forever to even get one that good. They look like they could be calyx but no white hairs. But what makes me think its a male its they are starting to grow in pairs on some nodes.

Not sure if it's sativa or indica dominant, so if it's sativa dominant it may take longer to show sex like my 2 weeks in bloom purple haze plants or it's still recovering from the topping and will show soon. Either way, light up, sit back, and let it show you.

Try going to 14/10 or gas lantern routine for two weeks it will speed the preflower phase and they will show sex sooner

You can clone her and let the clone veg while the mom blooms. Then you can have a larger yield when mom's done! Just an idea.
