So it’s been about a week into giving plant bloom nutes and changing photoperiod from 18/6 to 12/12and I’ve notice at some of the nodes that these things (circled in pic) have been popping up.. just wanted to know, before I get excited lol, are these the beginning of the preflowers?E5D02E84-4AFB-47A6-ADE0-5F4B59C95F90.jpeg

you should continue to give it nitrogen for the next two weeks to help with the streachbongsmilie
What about bloom nutes? It’s to the point where I have to water her everyday (or she’ll droop.. real bad). Should I do veg nutes then bloom nutes every other day?

@blake9999 is correct. The plants need veg nutes until stretch is done (usually by week 2-3), then switch to bloom nute. More often than not, if you prematurely feed with bloom nutes your plant will yellow out before harvest and you will sacrifice yield.

How will I know when to start giving her bloom nutes?

When the stretch stops/slows down considerably after you flip to 12/12 (usually about 2 weeks into the flip). They are still "technically" vegging for the first 2 weeks or so after flip so they will still require veg nutes to that point.

Give her veg nutes! I made the mistake of not giving her any in the first week or so in transitioning and DEFINITELY started showing signs of nitrogen deficiency, guessing she loves it when she stretches lol Like HydroRed said 2 weeks should be good, i just "officially" switched to Bloom nutes today. (2 weeks exactly since she started preflowering).

As for giving the bloom nutes every other day, i dont see why thats a problem. For me, i used 75% of veg nutes (used heavy dosing because i was already behind) and 25% of bloom nutes when i watered, so she was already getting a little bit of that as well. (used some cal/mag and hydroguard every once in awhile too)

Whether its a good thing, i have no idea lol im on my first grow. But i havent had any problem since then (knock on wood). Anyways, good luck with your grow!
