Pre-flower period, first 10 days 12/12, 2700k or 6500k???

I have a perp grow going, with a veg cupboard, a flower tent, and an overflow grow room, when space gets tight I stick a couple of plants in there. I am about to swap my 2 ladies to 12/12 in the over flow room, and have a choice of CFL's, and can either do mostly 2700k, or mostly 6500k, but mixed 70/30 either way.

While I fully understand that 2700k is what you want for flowering, I noticed that the first part of 12/12 is largely a growth spurt, and wondered if 6500k would be better for this.

Any expert advice out there please??

Use the 2700k cause the spectrum is needed for flowering never mind the growth cause it will still grow almost the same. The 6500k will help the growth but it will not get the same
vertical growth as the 2700k.I've used 2700k for a whole grow before and had my plant out grow its box,so it's really up to you.

Thanks, I'll set it up to 10,000 lumens 2700k, and 4000 lums 6500k. They will be going under a 250 dual spectrum HPS in 2 weeks anyway.

Appreciate the help
