Ppm going nuts

OK so I measured pH and ppm pre watering pH was 8.1 and ppm was 303.. I thought that was fine until I read the run off, pH 5.7 and ppm 1936 ...

Really don't get the huge jump is this normal?
 
Got bright colours on leafs they are a bit wavey and it seems like they stopped growing vertically

Any EC around 2.5~3 (1700~2000 ppm) for soil runoff should be normal. But your pH is too low IMO! There are many soil experts here that can give you a better answer.
 
I've just come over from the uk420 site and everyone there kept telling me there is no point ph'ing water if growing in compost as if has a buffer in the soil. But I think pH and ppm is important hense the move.. OK hessam I'll wait for someone else to post, thanks ..
 
A runoff ppm of 2000ppm is not normal for that tiny plant...you are gonna cook it with those concentrations.Soil is pretty iffy on runoff ppm,but thats,still too damn high I think.id want to see runoff in the .5ec range for that small of a plant.Taking the base water ec into account ofc.The ph is low due to the ultra high concentration of nutrients,cut your feeds way down and leach that medium with some 6.5 ph water.I assume you just fed it.What are you feeding it?

Anyway I fed them yesterday and now I feel like u should flush and start again but if I flush now won't I be hurting the plant even more by over watering ?
 
Depends on what you are feeding it,if its synthetic or full organic really,if its full organic you dont need to worry as much,but you have less control.If you are using any kind of synthetic nutrients on top of whats in your soil,thats where the trouble happens.

Over watering doesn't come from the quantity of water given, it comes from frequency of watering.
 
I know that but as I fed them yesterday and to flush them now is that not to much then?

2 of my plants were fed yesterday and 4 today the ones watered today I just flushed with 6.5 ph'd water
