hi is anyone using this reflector and are they any good?? what the light spread like? how hot does the reflector get?
would this reflector give enough coverage in a 1.5 x 1.5 meter area with a 600 watt hps?

Look up what the dimensions of it are. I'm using this vertizontal parabolic reflector for 9 plants. It's about 4 feet in diameter.

Dimensions: L x W x H – 605mm x 590mm 170mm would this size be good for 1.5m2 area?

you are trying to use a 600 for a 5x5 area. it will work, but a 1000w would be a better lamp. i use my 600's for 4x4 or less

whats the diference in heat between 600 and 1000 watt hps lamps? do you think 2 400 watt hps would be better in that area? +rep

600 is 95000 lumens and the 1000w is 150000. i believe there is a direct correlation between lumens output and heat. get your self an in-line and some air cooled hoods. its the best way to get rid of heat. buy yourself a 600, then when you have the finances, get a second. yes, the 2 400's would work better for coverage, but not for lumen output. figure out what your budget is for a setup, then expand when you crop out. good luck!
