I need to invest in an extractor fan as I am usuing a 600w HPS in a wardrobe. My question is How Do I Power It? I have 2 small PC fans and have wired them with a 12v power supply - would I have to do a similar thing with an extractor fan?

bump bump any1?

if you buy an inline duct fan and it doesn't come with a power cable, it will have leads to green, white (or red), and black wires. Green = ground, white (red) = hot (positive), black = negative. buy a grounded extension cord with the three corresponding wires exposed, twist them together and bind it with electrical tape.

Lowes and home depot sell suncourt inline duct fans with this exact setup, it's even easier than pc fans, you don't need a wall-wart at all
