Power strips. . .

I've always been told not to use every available plug in a power strip or surge protector, is this true? I have a power strip rated for 15 amps, with 7 outlets. Can I safely use all 7 outlets if I'm only drawing 4 amps max?

I dont see why not. It comes with 7 for a reason. Im sure if it caused damage or worse case a fire and burns your shit, you will see lotsssss of cash shortly after that

I agree! If your shit burns your a rich man! but its never cool when you lose all your stuff.
just be careful. but you should be fine,
and as long as its a newer strip and not one from 1942 :P

ya...thats what the surge protector is for...if it starts melting or exceeding power it should turn the fuse off
