Yeah. I have the milk residue On my leaves too debating whether to do another application or not. I’m probably 2-3 weeks away and we’re forecast for scattered showers the next 2-3 days. Then a week of sun in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

If you’re west of the cascades you’re going to get 3-4 days of showers starting tomorrow. I’m in the eastern gorge so it’s looks pretty light as far as the rains amounts go. How close are you? I’m a least 14-21 days away. So I may spray with milk 1 more time.

judging from these picks your a ways from harvest. If it were me, I’d spray the milk mixture maybe cut it to 20/80.
Ill be doing the same thing after this weather passes. Next week looks really nice!

Heres mine. The pic of the leaf is milk residue from my last spraying. We had a shower last week that washed some of it off.

Yeah I’m west of the cascades. Like stated above, a couple days of showers and then the sun returns. I have a couple questions I’m hoping I can get answers to before the rain arrives tomorrow...

im planning on moving the plants into my covered porch. They’ll stay dry and in the breeze but out of “direct” (there won’t really even be any) sunlight.Would that be okay?

should I spray the plant down now, or wait until the sun is back and can dry it out? I just feel like spraying it down now, with the cool damp weather, is probably the perfect form toform/spread more mold. Thoughts?

lastly, the idea of taking off SOME of the fan leaves made sense.Also, the counter point of fan leaves being your plants nutrient supply and water source makes sense too. All things considered, and fear of my plant being too dense, I clipped some fan leaves today. I’ve attached pictures of what it looks like. Lemme know what you think?

Yeah. I have Zero issues with thinning out the worst fan leaves, just don’t overdo it.
im waiting until the weather clears Saturday or Sunday to decide if I need to spray. Then when you’re ready to move them back out into the sun, spray them in the AM. putting them under a porch roof for a couple days won’t hurt them. It’s supposed to clear off by Saturday. So drag them under cover before it rains and pull them back out when it clears. Wait a day and spray.

Awesome thanks for the input.

yeah I kinda let them go back to being native during all the smoke. Didn’t mess with them or give them much nutes. Just let them kinda weather the storm.

I picked off some fan leaves off and might do a bit more in like A week or so, somewhere in the middle of all this nice weather. I’ll also start giving them nutes again and will move them back out into the sunshine. Just gonna keep a close eye with all this moisture and pick off whatever I can on the leaves while it’s raining.

I’ve been in flower for like a month now, maybe a bit more. So I’m thinking by this time in October I should be good. But I might pull them if the weather gets too bad. I’m not too concerned about MAXING my potential, I just wanna get something out of it this season instead of losing everything to mold last year. I’ve been keeping a much better eye on it this year. Here’s to a dry October!

yeah. That’s my plan of attack. Mine are in raised beds and I’m not going to cover them. I’m hoping to hold out until the 2nd week of October. But we shall see. If the weather gets really shitty I’ll yank the any time after 10/1
I just have my girls their last nutrient watering, They’re in great soil and they can get what they need from that.

Yeah mine are in good soil as well. Don’t you typically want to stop giving them nutes like two weeks before pulling them?

and It sounds like we’ve got similar game plans going. Hope you’ll stick around and we can share experiences!

I used dish soap and water diluted in a spray bottle. The spores came back the very next day. I'm going to try milk this time. Diluted Apple cider vinegar doesn't seem to work either.

Random acts of kindness work wonders in the karma dept. I'm convinced that absolute coverage of treatment is crucial. Never had a problem beating PM with smallish plants and consistent preventive measures. This year I grew an overcrowded jungle and nothing worked until I broke out my airless paint pump and a full face respirator. Blows my Hudson fogger away. Hand pumps and electric sprayers are a pointless waste of time and resources. More eficient as well. Using 1/3 the solution to get full coverage in the same sq ft. Prevention and full coverage. Good luck people.

h202 spray, I use it and it works amazing, very economical if you buy the 35% and dilute. I hose the plant down with a cheap $10 pump sprayer, no need for an airless paint gun and hazmat suit unless youve got a field to dust, works perfect I can do a 6 foot tall BUSH of a plant in 3-5minutes.

If Ive had trouble with a plant late in flower with signs of mildew, I will also dunk the buds in h202 in a tote when harvesting and hanging to start drying, just as Jorge Cervantes advises

I used Green Cure (mostly potassium bicarbonate with some surfactants) and it worked really well on the powdery mildew. If you use it at full strength during flower it'll turn your pistils brown, but the new ones growing in are unaffected. Doesn't cause any problems with flowering other than that. Had a couple of clones two years ago, one was too close to the tomatoes and got some PM. First time I used Green Cure so I used it full strength and all the pistils went brown. Couldn't tell the difference between the buds after harvest without looking at the jar, smoked the same, same potency.
