Well came into mother room today and i got PM(cannaherps) have a few questions?

1. Have heard best was is to scrap them all/clean/ and restart from seed. Well i have one strain that i have acquired that is gonna be a pain in my ass to get again at this point, Is it possible to work with PM in my mother.

2.Took a round of clones off of it 10 days ago, Should i scrap these? they have no external signs yet should i keep them and try eagle 20 dip on them before they go into flower room.

3. i borrowed the circulation fan from mother room 3 days ago and stoner move forgot to put it back and i think this is what caused it, the stale air as ive had them in that environment since seed and they are 4 months old just saw patches on lower growth this am. Have a round in the flower room going now (this is the same room as mothers its just divided into mother/veg/flower) with no signs and they are clones that are not off any of my mothers any precautions to take?

basically wanting to hear from people who have keep prized mothers around with PM and cloned off of them and steps they had encountered or if is should just hack them down and start from seed with a couple of strains i have chillin?bongsmilie:peace:

Neem oil helps as a preventative. To clean I use either high ph water, or serenade but it stinks! Does work well though if used as directed.

Eagle20 works to kill the PM that lives inside the plants. I have had good luck with it. You can also use a sulpher burner to kill PM on your mothers. I have heard people burning sulpher on a schedule all the way through flower to keep PM away. You can't do it inside your house though as it will stink like hell. Neem oil will stop PM bloom but will not kill the mold inside the plant. I have used potassium bicarbonate for pm on flowering plants but it also just kills the bloom, not the disease. I suggest the eagle 20 and a thorough bleaching down of every surface in your grow. Also bleach out your flower room when you can. If you have some fire genetics now might be the time to start with non infected plants. I hope this helps good luck.

Hey, just be careful if you use eagle20, that shit is pretty toxic, and definately only in veg...Good luck!

A UVC light should work and there's no chemicals involved. UVC can quickly damage you though and it would be advisable to wear full cover & goggles while using it.

Just hit them with some PH 10 water, gonna do the milk and water deal tonight when rooms on? any burn from that should i wait till my lights are about to go out? Also thinned out the mothers and put them in the flower room just gonna flower them out, PM is minimal but don't want to continue cloning. Started the bleach clean of my mother room and will go from there.

Serenade does work well but its the stinkiest stuff ever. Smells like barn manure. If you have enough ventilation give it a try.
