Potting soil and containers

Hello people! im about to start my first grow and was wondering what the best potting soil to use is. I have miracle grow but i have heard that its acidic and encourages male plants. So what is a potting soil that is good that i can buy at my local home depot or lowes. Also how big should my potting container be. Any help would be nice. :spew:
 
Buy miracle grow organic soil at lowes or where ever. Go all out and get fox-farm if ya can. Shoot for 3 gallon pots.

Do hyponix or supersoil,get it at Wal-mart.Very inexpensive and it 's so dark and rich without all that bark crap in it. You might want to get some perlite too for added drainage. Pot size go for the five gallon at least.KEEP SMOKE ALIVE!!
