Potting question

So Im planning on transplanting my plants this time next week into shallow 1.5 gallon rubbermaid containers. Would this be a problem?

These but bigger. Im planning on duct taping the outside so the roots arnt showing. But my main concerns are. Will the roots spread and be able to pull nutes from the whole container. Will the roots after not being able to grow further down get root bound before they can really spread. Is 1.5 gallons going to be enough room. ect.

I only have about 2ft of clearance in my little area and almost half that is taken up by the lights as you can see in my journal. (considering getting a ufo led would make things hella easier) so i cant really use deep pots. and im planning to lst like crazy almost as much as that guy whose friend is locked up with the "i dont care what you guys say in doing it" thread (love that plant you have btw hope i can come close to its greatness)

Using these as pots you'll actually cause the plant to want to grow out and not up, which with your setup will work rather well. The roots won't become bound at all, they'll have plenty of room to grow. So I say do it up, and good luck!

Good to know thanks. Im not sure it i should veg these afew extra weeks or flower immediately lol Because i need to set them outside if they decide to get to smelly. Would they be able to finish flowering outside at the end of march/early april or would the days be to long?
