Potassium Silicate

Hey everyone is there a way to make potassium silicate more readily available for the plant? From what I know it takes some more time for better absorption than other silica products. Is there some thing that can speed it up or perhaps a foliar application. Any insight is greatly appreciated

Use products with monosilicic acid instead of potassium silicate
Ps takes weeks if not months to become available to the plant, even then it's only a small % of the amount you've added in.

if you can get some diatomatious earth, its a perfect sourse of silica, being predominatly silica

You're right but again it's something that takes a long time to break down. You need to look at what form the silica is in. If it's a silicate it's non plant available and needs the use of enzymes and bacteria to break it down into a plant available form ; monosilicic acid
