Pot sizes and # of transplants - Microgrow (PC case)

Hey people, I am about to go on a "journey" and everything is almost set...
One thing left to decide is what pot sizes should I use and how many times to transplant.
I bought 3 types of pots: small of 0.1 galon, medium of 0.5 galon and "big" of 1 galon.

The space inside the case is enough for only 1 "big" pot or 2 medium pots or about 6 small ones. The plan is to eventually grow only one female plant (LST or SCROG, so at a point it would be a problem to transplant).

So what should i do?
start with 6 small pots and move to 2 medium and finally to 1 "big" (2 transplants)? or start with 2 medium pots and move to 1 "big" (1 transplant)? or start with 6 small pots and move to 2 medium (1 transplant)?

The case dimensions are: L584mm (23") x W227mm (9") x H536mm (21").

the big pot is 6.7" (17cm), that leaves about 11" (3" for the lights) left for the plant to grow in... but i will do LST or Scrog so dunno if it really matters...

Thanks for the advice!

I am sure that you will get many different answers so all I will say is transplant as few times as possible. It is stressfull to the plant. I would also water with Superthrive after transplanting.

Thanks, that's why i opt for 1 transplant only, but i fear starting with medium sized pots will be too big right after germination.. or 0.5 gal is not a problem? also, planting only two plants will lower the chances to have 1 female...

maybe start from 0.1 gal abd transplant to 1 gal?

could a medium (0.5gal) pot be enough for a microgrow?

but i think i won't get to see the sex of the plant growing in 0.1gal. only until i transplant to 0.5 or 1gal they'll be able to mature enough... am i right or wrong? (nOOb question :) )

Dude check out the 12/12 from seed club. There is guys in there that grow 4 foot plants in paper cups dude.

+rep, thanks mate!

I also read in Marijuana Horticulture (by Jorge cervantes) that fewer daylight hours (~14hrs) increases the number of females...

So as for now (until new info/advice will emerge) i'm starting with 0.1gal -(transplant)> 0.5 gal and try 14/10 veg and 12/12 for flowering...

hopefully I will be able to determine sex after 3 weeks or so in 0.1gal pots

The only problem for me now is how am i going to train these plants in such a small pot? i'll have to glue the pot or something :)
