Hey guys...I plan to try LST on my next grow after this harvest. I'm only going to be growing one plant. But, I hate transplanting...So the question is:

Can I just start my seedling off and then put it in the 2 gallon pot? I've heard you shouldn't becuase the roots grow down and not to the sides (i think)...but correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't see why not, seedlings do good in the ground outside in the vast amount of soil there. The roots will grow sideways too.

true, i was just reading up and some say i shouldnt, and some say go for it. I think i'd end up just going for it anyway...its always fun to experiment for future reference

you should at least transplant once, those roots will find there way to the bottom of the pot faster then you think.

imo...i would start at least 2 plants, you have a 50/50 chance of getting male/female.

after all the lst training and getting a male that would suck...lol

I plant ALL seeds and ALL clones in peat moss cups. Then there is no transplant really. Stick the cup in the soil and the roots eventually grow straight through the peat moss cup and into the bigger bucket.

And the roots will search for moisture no matter what. They will grow to the sides as well as down.:joint:

So heres the plan. I'm going to start em off in peat pots/peat moss cups and let them grow until the roots start coming out of them. Then, I will transplant into a 5 inch pot. Then, into the 2 gallon
