If the photo is above the allowable size it'll show uploaded but won't post. Not sure if that's your issue but it's happened to me before.
How do you easily change the size from a phone? Thanks.

I've never had an issue with phone photos, just some hires pics from digital camera. Used picresize.com
J232's suggestion should work too.

Look for edit button when you view on your phone.

You might also have “Live Photo” mode on which makes files way bigger.
To get full size images click insert full image. They load better on mobile that way. So many times I’ll click a thumbnail to see if I can help with something and only the top 1/4 loads on my phone, did it when I had an android, does it on the iPhone too.

I have to hit the download button to view the thumbnails otherwise it half loads too.
