Posting images as Signature

My roll it up on the top right hand corner
on the left hand side
>edit signature
scroll down the page you will see
Option upload image from your computer
in tiny writing you will notice is says Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 500 by 100 pixels or 20.0 KB (whichever is smaller).
so please make sure you are using the right size
than click upload
it would seem to me the image you're using is too big .

Your right... normally the pixel size is 500X150 0r 500X100. I need to scale down the original image.
I don't have the option to import an image from my pc or from a link. Some sites limit new users until they have contributed to the site which may be the case here, I don't know anyway -->. here is what my screen looks like
