^ NOT TRUE....i used to date a woman with three kids, the youngest was 17. every time we were supposed to get together, one of her kids would have a melt down and need momma to come help them out....i kept telling her that they were adults now, it's important that they learn how to deal with their own problems, that she wasn't doing them any favors continually bailing them out of situations they shouldn't have gotten into to begin with....of course she eventually picked them over me, which is alright, but i just wonder what those "kids" are going to do when mom is gone
