Possible to "sample" my grow without hurting the plant? One bud?

Finally my four little plants are showing buds. Long pistils, and crystals on the nearby leaves. The plants likely only have one or two bowls worth on them at the moment.

Is it possible to take off a bud and try it, without hurting the plant from continuing to grow? Im trying to be patient, but this grow process takes a long time

If your yield is only a couple of bowls let the buds ripen to 50/50 amber/cloudy. If this were a large plant it would make no difference, but this is a long time to wait for 2 or three bowls. Wait and enjoy it fully ripe.

I wasnt sure if it was like my tomato plants, that keep growing new fruits
