smooothy Member Feb 6, 2010 #1 Hi all, I'am wondering how tall of a plant can a 1000 watter penetrate to? I wanted to veg my sativas to 5 ft then figured flowering , they'll grow another 5 ft so 10 ft in all? Is this to much for a 1000 watter to penetrate?

cph Well-Known Member Feb 6, 2010 #2 IMO if your going to grow a plant that big inside you should do some training of some type. Either LST or FIMing or a combo of both.

J johnny12r Well-Known Member Feb 6, 2010 #3 i have a 1000w hps and 6 plants under it 4 of them are almost 7 ft now and look good.i tied them over so i could lower the light but before i did that they were fine.
