hey guys. i think my plants have a phosphorus deficiency due to lower leaves yellowing, then gaining spots with grey/black and purple hue. then leave dies and it gets the next one up from the bottom. stems are really purple. have gave them ferts. but not even full strength. im using general hydroponics micro, gro, and bloom fertilizers. all ferts given have been low in phosphorus high in nitrogen for veg. they are about a month old. yes they are small. i want them that way. my temps do not go above 81 farenheight. humidity is around 40. 18/6 light cycle. soil ph is 6.8. they are not overwatered. soil is mixture of organic and perlite. 30 perlite 70 soil. in the pic they havent been watered in like a week. plants need water right about now. not bone dry, there is still a small amount near the bottom. 70 percent of soil is completely dry.

please help!

:leaf:Looks closer to being deficient all-around.... not just "P". I would up the dosage, and hit it with a full dose of even ferts, and soak the soil with it once, then back down to 3/4 doses. Also, I would start a 1/2 strength foliar spray daily for fast results.

But that's me...... Good luck.:leaf:

heres some pics from awhile ago. they look much better in these but here are some of the early symptoms.

hmmmmm...ok
how many teaspoons is the full dose?
and how many teaspoons were u feeding before u fed now

they look over watered aswell..also do you use cal/mag? because i know you use tap water right?, if so get some cal/mag... yellow leafs from the bottom up is a mag def i think..you should flush them befor the next feeding too..

ya i flushed them and then gave them some nutes today. they shouldnt be overwatered. just transplanted into these pots not to long ago. i have watered twice since transplant first on of just water after about 6 days and then today with 2tsp/gallon mix of micro, gro, bloom. i water when 70% and up of soil is dry. i do also use tap water, the ph is 6.8. i let it sit for a couple days in an open container. is their any more availible calcium/magnesium remedies. the nearest grow shop or gardencenter is pretty far away. would it be better to use distilled clean water from the store.

this dose this morning i gave them a 2 of micro, 2 of gro, and 2 of bloom. thats 2 tsp each per gallon. the time before i gave them 1 micro, 1.5 gro, and .5 bloom. and thats every other watering with a flush every couple weeks.

the dosage i gave them is actually the full dose for transition to flower it says on the back of the bottle. i didnt use the full veg dose because of low phosphorus. that does is 2tsp micro 3 tsp gro and 1 tsp bloom.

leaf tips are still curling under?
Your doses seem ok depending on what the NPK values are. If you need Magnesium, get some epsom salts from a drug store or wal-mart. It is magnesium sulfate, and will even have dose recommendations for plants on the bag.

As far as looking sick, don't look for the sick leaves to recover. The new growth will show you if you are doing it right.

here are my ferts. should i flush them. i also noticed some really small white larvae on the leaves of one of my plants. should i just kill it before it infects the others?

Wow, those NPK values are really low compared to what I use, so don't be afraid to dose em up. You may even want to move to something higher.... or even mix. As for the bugs, I would pick up some neem oil, or some other non-chem pesticide and try to control them with a foliar spray. If you catch em before they go crazy, you'll be fine with no losses.
