Possible over feed? or Ph Problem?

"200W Envirolite 6400k, previously i was using a 60W fluro which is why they are so lanky. They've bushed out ALOT more in the past two weeks."
Lanky and stretched mean the same thing. I changed lights two weeks ago, and they've bushed out alot more..
How long do you think i should wait before flowering? If i changed them now, how much do you think i'll get off the plants?

hard to say.maybe 1/2 oz per plant.dunno, i don't get harvest allready.but imo you have to wait them to get better before switching to flower.

when u flush just make sure they dont sit in the run off i suggest using clearex instead of plain water as it is made for these cases.

So heres the update - I flushed the two smaller plants, they still look pretty bad - they've got a little worse. I made sure all the water drained out, and havent watered them since. Have a look at the pics, do you think they'll survive? Im so frustrated with myself!

yikes bud i would not drive yourself crazy trying to bring these back i know thats not what you want to hear but i would start again fresh if this is a killa starin that you must have try taking a cutting and starting fresh. if you have any questions i would be happy to help you on a new grow from scratch this baby just looks like it need to be taken out back and shot.

next time go overboard on the pot fill it with good medium smaller cups and pots contribute largely to hurting plants.

" this baby just looks like it need to be taken out back and shot." - haha
Im so gutted, I really wanted to have a bad ass crop on my first grow, and screwed it up... nevermind aye.
I've still got one plant which seems to have survived my n00bish attack on them, I think i'll clone from it, because it looks like a really strong plant (https://www.rollitup.org/attachment...095-how-much-weed-can-expect-picture-1141.jpg)
Can you clone once you're flowering, or do you have to do in the veg stage? ( Could it be done at the end of flowering stage? )
Thanks again

yeh i made that mistake to, iverdosing my plant on nutes. But yours wasnt as bad as mine, mine fell over and the roots seemed to have dicintigrated cause i remember wen i trnasplanted it there was a root ball, and wen i took it out wen it was dead there was just the stem turning into the root.

ahh yes that one looks much healthier it looks almost all sativa too.. good luck being cautious and almost scared of what you do to your plants will always pay off.
as far as cloneing goes its better to take a cutting when in veg otherwise you have to re veg which takes a long as time, if you want the clone to grow bigger than it is you need to be in veg growth. If not you can clone a flowering plant but your resualts will be in the same stage as the mom which means it will be trying to grow bud at the same time as trying to grow roots, just a bit to much..

I'd get some backup beans going. That plant could turn out to be male (and its clones) - you don't want to be back at square one in a few weeks.

Virtually everyone kills or abuses the first crop or 2. You'll be a better man for the experience. Just remember, no matter what, you're one day closer to the killer homegrown.

at least alot of first time growers like myself, can learn your mistake, i think ill cut back on my feeding a tad.

i agree i am by no means a genious at this but in 5 harvests that ive had the leading problem was over feeding/watering a wise person told me that it is 10x easier to over water than undewater i use to water untill it flowed like mad from the bottom of pot now i seldom see any water come from below and my plants are healthier for it

Yeh i know what you mean Standox.. Thankfully they're all starting to recover - i think in about a week, they'll be ok... Then due to time constraints im going to switch them into flowering!
Do you think i should leave the 6400K bulb in for a the early stages of flowering, or switch straight away to the 2700K bulb i have???

Look forward to a response!
