Possible nutrient burn ?

I have 4 plants in an RDWC system, i am running RO water with 5ml/gallon of CaliMagic by GH, and for base nutes I am using H&G Aqua Flakes, currently running at about 250ppm. That plants were going fine up until the recent res change, i was running .5ml/l of calmag and thought this was a bag calmag deficiency so I upped it to 5ml/gallon, but the issue didnt go away, my ph is sitting at 5.8-6.0, if it goes about 6.0 i drop it back down to 5.8. If this is bad nute burn how can I fix it? I dont exactly have 20 gallons of RO ready as it takes quite a while for the stealth 100 to produce it. BTw, room temps are between 75-80, with about 19-20% humidity, tried adding a humidifer and it didn't really help so I dont know if thats the issue.

It doesn't look like a nitrogen burn to me but I don't know what is wrong. 250 ppm at this age feels fine. How far away are your lights? Are your roots healthy and white? You've checked the bottoms of plants for small pests?

Just throwing out shit to check off the list.

the lights are about 8 inches away, i have 2 400w MH running @ 300w, the roots are healthy and white, i can take a pic of em, i have the water at 65-68F with a chiller, and i dont see any pests at the bottom of the plants.

so I did check my roots and they are a bit brown, not dark brown, but more tan, and there was some slime on them that came right off in a clump when i touched it. How can I get rid of this slime? I dont have light getting it anywhere and I have a chiller to keep water temps down.

Don't need to see the roots if they are healthy. I think your lights sound pretty close if they put off heat like my 400W. Are you taking your temp readings at top of canopy under the lights? That big curled up leaf looked like heat stress but the temps you described would not have done it.

Yes, my digital hydrometer is on the bucket, and they are in cooltubes with a 6' centrifugal fan, shouldve mentioned that. read my previous post though, roots dont look super healthy, i will take a pic shortly.

Oh sorry, didn't see that till after I posted. Um, you need to search for a link on here about teas for removing root rot in hydro grows. Maybe somebody can post it, I don't have it marked. I hear H2O2 is not so good once slime has started but I'll pass off to others now that your issue seems more defined. Good luck!

That looks like it could be iron or magnesium deficiency. But I only see it on the older leaves, the newer growth seems perfectly happy. Best part of running hydro is that problems become evident almost instantly and so are the adjustments you make. It's perfectly normal to get small problems like this at the beginning - the plants are adjusting to the environment and you are adjusting the environment to the plants. Once you know what they like it will go smooth. The key is not to freak out and not do more damage trying to fix it. Good luck.

The problem seems to be getting worse, trying to get some aqua shield to try and kill the root slime, I'll update if it's not getting worse but it seems to be spreading to the other plants

Oh, sorry - didn't read the one about your root problem..

I use some H2O2 the day before I change the res every week - keeps bacteria in check without killing off the good ones except last day.

So it doesnt seem to be spreading to the new growth, just the old, hopefully it is contained, waiting on some aquashield from the local shop, going to be about a week or so until I can brew some heisenbergs tea.
