im pretty sure this is just exposed roots but I thought I would see what you guys think. Looked like white mold on the soil.image.jpeg

Hi Boomy, are you talking about the Green Perlite? that may be because of moisture. I've seen that happen when the humidity is to high Or it was in a humidity dome, to me it looks like algae on them, the green. I really don't see any white mold. But That Green is algae. No problem just either mix it in and stir the top of the soil and let it dry out for abit. don't over water her.
 
I know it's hard to see in the picture and I don't know how to circle it on the picture. I'm talking about the base of the stalk. It has a white bump on it pointing out and about 1/2 inch from that another white furry bump in the soil. Lol it's hard to show but I'm pretty sure it was a root that I probably exposed by hitting the soil too hard with water.

Anyways I buried it so if it comes back then I guess it was mold lol
 
Seems OK, make sure you let the soil dry out in between waterings. Not like completely dry but you know, just let it dry out.
 
That is not mold, Now I see what your looking at, Yes it does look like a root. should be just fine,
