Possible light burn...

I woke this morning to my baby moved too close to the light. The leaf I believe was the closest to the lite has me a little concerned...

I am not 100% on whether or not it was the closest to the light but fairly certain. I would like to make sure it's not a deficiency or toxicity or some sort and just lite burn.

Any input would be greatly appreciated :peace:

Also... I do not believe I have introduced myself on this account yet so I will get to that soon lol.

I couldn't tell you what that is but that's what I'm fighting... It's started exactly like your pics. Then this brown spots turned into rust rust spots that look like a mag deficiency. I hope you figure it out good luck

The leaf cupping is from heat stress. you said the light was to close = move it up. A fan can help. Ambient temps should be around 68-74F and humidity 40-50%. Water it when the soil feels dry down to your first knuckle when you stick it in? No damp feeling = don't water yet. Add a Cal/Mag supplement at half the said dose when watering.

To Newmmc.....You have a two tone plant pheno! NOTHING to worry about. Continue on!

Good Luck guys!

The edges curling upward on your leaves does suggest heat stress but the browning spots look like a cal/mag deficiency. So check the temperature around the top of your canopy and adjust ventilation and light spacing as needed. As for a deficiency, you must figure out if there is a lockout from incorrect ph, lockout from overfeeding, or if there is no cal/mag in your water supply. Do you know your source water ppm and ph?

Basically i bumped the pot when my timer turned the lites out on me at the wrong time lol. When I came in this morning I am fairly certain that leaf was actually touching a 100w 6500k cfl. It was around 5am and i hadn't had any coffee yet so I am a little cloudy on details. Temp stays around 70-71

The only thing I could find on my water supply is at the bottom of this pdf www.lebanonohio.gov/DocumentCenter/Home/View/165

I see a lot of woody material in your pots....sprinkle some dolomite lime on those as the woody material can cause pH to fall....Use a cpl of tsp's per pot.
You might consider using a light supplementation of Cal/Mag to your watering, like say 2.5ml. That way you can simply forget about water content for now.

Awesome I am definitely going to give that a try. Hopefully my babies will grow up big and sexy...

Thanks for all the help :peace:
