Possible continuous Harvest?

Is it possible to have a continuous harvest by taking clones off your mother plants when they are around 2 weeks into harvest. Put those clippings in a mini green house with rooting hormone until you can plant them. Plant them next to your mother plants (which should be done soon) immediately under 12/12. When your mothers are done you will have a full size harvest because I plan on vegging these. The clones should be getting bigger now, if not wait till they get to a decent size. Cut more clones from the first clones and do the same thing. Then harvest first generation clones and repeat. I don't expect huge harvest off the clones, but by using hydroponics, and figuring 2+ months of harvest time per clone. I'm hoping for 2+ ounces per plant (dry) if your using a high yield strain like Ice or Sweet Tooth. Those 2 strains yield from 300-500g per m2.

Does this sound like it could work?

Clones taken from plants that have been flowering are notoriously slow to root. If your clones don't strike, the plants you have taken them from have continued to flower, making your problem worse if you need to do another batch of cuttings.

If you want to do perpetual harvest, keep some mother plants under 18-24h/day light and take cuttings from them as needed; every 2 weeks is a good interval. Avoids having to take cuttings from flowering plants.
